Just A Couple Of Mavericks

We at Neo Creations have been busy coming up with a few new Mavericks, and have come away with some pretty excellent results. The ideas for these came shortly after visiting the Treasure Island hotel & casino in Las Vegas at the beginning of April, and took a few weeks to complete. We decided to make a sort of navel themed gun, as well as a bit of an undead pirate blaster. Alongside this we got to work making the replica of my wife's Maverick for the giveaway on my upcoming birthday.

They are all still fully function with AR/Post Removal on the Navy and Undead blasters, and AR removal on the two others. There really isn't much more that I can say about them as the pictures really speak for themselves.

      I honestly look around craft stores forever, and couldn't find an anchor that was worth using. I wanted to have one hanging from the rope at the bottom of the Navy gun.

    Wow, you've outdone it.
    who paints your guns, is it you? or your wife?

    Anyways, love the Winchester one, did you use real wood? or just a special type of spray paint?

      We paint them together. I'm ("the wife") paints the wood effect by hand, while Ben typically makes them all cool and metallic.

      I use acrylic paint and really fine brushes to make the wood gain effect. It's a high compliment to hear it looks like real wood!

    Great job as usual. Quick question though, how do you individualize the barrels, it looks much better, and I was wondering how you do it?

      you take the barrel apart, take all the screws out, it should make sense by that time, after taking it apart, there should be a part that has all the tubes in it, the other part is casing that goes around it, cut that off with anything that will do the trick, hope that answers your question.
